About
Hi, I’m Chris Sandberg I grew up in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and went to college at Brigham Young University. Since I was a kid I have always been interested in business and computers. I taught myself to do basic programming as a kid and learned to set up a website as soon as I heard about this new internet thing, back in the mid 90s.
While in college I tried to start a web design business, but soon realized it wasn’t something I was too interested in, but in the process I stumbled upon something that really did interest me—Internet Marketing. For about a year or so I learned everything I could about internet marketing and experimented a lot. I was amazed with how easy it was to get free traffic from the search engines, so I began to specialize in SEO.
Over the last several years I have launched and sold many of my own websites. In early 2007 I took an opportunity to go to the Philippines to help train workers for Agents of Value to do SEO and LinkBuilding. When I got back later that year I jumped at the chance to join Russell Brunson’s DotComSecrets team in Boise, Idaho, where I worked as their SEO and Web Analytics manager for much of 2008, and later worked as one of their Advanced Coaches for SEO through early 2009.
In 2009 I took some classes at the Univeristy of Utah to try to inch closer to finishing out my undergrad degree, and did some consulting work, but mostly just took it easy. Now, in 2010 I am back at work taking on clients and building up my own web business full time.
